It all depends on where the scar tissue was. I had scar tissue everywhere as well as adhesions from an infection I got when my son was born. It destroyed my tubes from the inside out and caused an ectopic and a bunch of supposed ectopics. It went for so long my insides were adhered to other parts. I am now unable to ever have a baby the normal way. My only option ever is IVF. I am sure your wasn't that severe or you would have been told that. HAve you had your post-op appointment yet?? Usually the doc gives you a ton of info at that appointment.
