So I had my u/s today and today is cd12. I took my last Clomid on Saturday night (was on it days 6-10). My RE starts the u/s and says, "do you know if you ovulated already?". HUH?!! I said I didn't think so! He kept looking and said it looks as though I have just ovulated. He wasn't completely sure. He said there looked to be one mature follicle, but he couldn't tell if it was where it was just released from or if it's still there (I think that's what he said, I hope that makes sense!). He said he was going to put it in my file with a question mark, but for me and DH to BD for the next 4-5 days (once a day or every other day I guess). He said it was a possibility that since I started the Clomid on day 6, it can sometimes make women ovulate early. I guess that's me!! So, I took an OPK test and here's how it looks:

Sorry, I know it's kind of blurry! I'm new to these tests, so does this mean I have already ovulated or I'm going to soon? I know it's detected an LH surge with the two lines, but how do I interpret that? I'm so confused!!

The worst part .. DH is flying out of town tonight for two days, and I'm not sure if we will have time to BD between when he gets off work and when he has to be at the airport!!

Thanks for any help girls!

With your OPK coming up positive today, and your DH being out of town for the next two days, I'd definitely bd before he gets on that flight! From what I understand, the egg, once released, can live for 12 - 24 hrs. And you should release the egg within 24 - 48 hrs from when your LH surge was detected. Also to cover your bases, bd when he gets home too
Good luck!!

I had that happen to me a couple of months ago I started my Clomid and I ovulated on day 10 or 11 because when I went in on day 12 they said you already ovulated we missed it and then I had to wait to start another cycle. So now I am in my 2WW after having my IUI done this morning. I hope you get your BFP soon!

Thanks girls!

I was able to get some alone time with DH this afternoon before he caught his flight
He should be back late tomorrow night, so hopefully we'll be able to catch that eggie!

Jena - I hope you get your BFP this cycle!!! I'll be thinking of you!
