I can't believe AF showed up. I took the shot last Monday and she's finally here! So, I'm all excited again. But on the flip side just found out that I will be laid off in 60 days...talk about pressue to get this done under my current insurance. I refuse to wait until I find another job and have to wait another 30 days for insurance to kick in. I should be able to complete this cycle of IVF before then, right?

I think I need another vacation

Oh no! I hope you can get IVF complete by then! I'm sorry you're getting laid off, that's gotta be extra stress that you don't need right now.

On the flip side, when af is done over there, please be sure to send her to my house pronto. We need to have a talk!

I don't know yet but I pray so...if not, we will have to empty savings...excellant cause but was hoping to save for nursery and possible daycare. Corporate America can suck!

Ditto!
A little o/t, but last week I got really irate at work and I posted my resume on Monster.com. Within 2 hours of putting it out there I got 2 calls from prospective employees! And the calls have kept coming ever since then, some even on Sunday. I'm an accountant, but my friend is in sales/marketing and she had the same type of results with Monster

Well, Yay for AF showing up!

But boo for being laid off in 60 days, I'm sorry to hear that. My IVF clinic always took payment for a treatment cycle up front so if yours is the same, you should have no problem with the insurance coverage with your existing employer. Even if it's not your clinic's normal practice (which I'm assuming it is), you could explain your circumstances and I'm sure they'd be happy to take payment now.

Good luck!!
