My left ovary hurts SO much right now. It feels like ovulation cramps x 100. I actually doubled over while on a field trip with Jess today. I am worried I am ovulating - is that possible? Yesterday my largest follie was only an 11 - they wouldn't ovulate a follicle that size yet, right? I did POA OPK and it was - which surprised me (I figured the LH in the Menopur would give me a false reading).

I worry about not starting the antagon yet when he originally said as soon as the leading follie is 12mm and yesterday I had that 11.

Any words of advice?

I don't think you ovulated hon... I got quick cramps like that alot. Especially the morning of retrieval... IT may not have even been from your ovary. I have IBS and sometimes I get quick, double me over pains and it is just a gas pocket going around the corner of my bowel.. Last all of 6-9 seconds.... It isn't ovulation yet!!

I doubt very much that it was ovulation at this point, don't worry!

When is your next scan?

Friday along with b/w. It just scares me that they are waiting that long to move me onto Cetrotide. A lot can happen on the ovary front in 3 days (especially with an 11mm follie). No surge on the OPK (thank goodness I can at least test).

I just never felt pain like that on my first cycle of meds. Heaviness, achiness - yes. But that really hurt and came on so suddenly too. It seems to hurt more when I sit for any period of time - I guess the pressure on the ovaries getting squished or something.

I remember having the same worries waiting to start my Cetrotide. I started on CD8 (6th day of Gonal-F) and my lead follies were 14. If your leads were 11 on Tuesday, then you should be about 13 today and ready to start it.

Try not to worry about it too much, I'm sure you're just feeling the pain of the ovaries being over stuffed - every cycle is a different experience.

I'll be interested to hear how things go today... hoping for some a nice follie report!
