I decided to take Clomid along with Met for a few months now.My doctors wont help me with anything else, and being as I have already been on Clomid before and wasnt really monitored exept for bloodwork which *I* had to ask for for, then I am going to take the Clomid again and see what happens.
I havent tried these 2 meds together, and it seems to have worked for some people,so Im hoping it works for me.
What I wanted to know is,what days should I take the Clomid? The last time I took it on CD5,but I didnt O on it...but this time Im on Met which did work kwim?
Should I take it on CD5 again,or CD3? Any suggestions would be so helpful.

BTW:For those of you who are wondering why Im going to be taking the Clomid without being monitored:Im doing it because being as I already have children,I am not liable for any help getting pregnant or any more tests than Iv already had because I am not considered infertile (aparantly secondary infertility doesnt exsist here). So at this point in my TTC journey (In july in will have been a year),I am on my own.

I have no idea why, but my doctor is having me take the clomid cd3-7. I have been wondering what difference it makes. I really hope this works for you!! Are you going to chart again, or are you done with that forever since you didn't sleep while doing it? Best of luck!!

The earlier the better because then it has less effect on your lining. I was chatting with a gal in the UK who said they are now using Clomid days 1-5 and having much better success with lining issues (she is a nurse).

Great info! I didn't know the earlier you took it, the better your lining is.

I can't believe that they don't recognize 2ndary infertility. Why is that? Just doesn't make sense? The good & the bad about being in a country where you can get Clomid w/o a rx & much cheaper than in the USA.

I had my longest LP ever when I took clomid 4-8 so you'll be fine. Too bad you can't get some estrace to help plump the lining up.

Oh sorry, it's estrogen. Comes in the form of a patch or oral med.
