I'm not sure how long my normal cycles would have been since I havn't had one in 3 years before the metfomin and clomid but last cycle was 31 days and I am guessing this cycle will be the same since this is cd17 for me and still no O. I oed cd18 last cycle.

When I first started with Met, my cycle was longer 30-35 days. But I have to say when I used to be "regular" I would skip between months so having a 30-35 cycle days was pretty good. It did start to go to 28 days. But I do have a severe case of PCOS and even Met stopped bringing my period on. So, I would check with the dr to be on the safe side of things.

thanks for all the help. I spotted once last night but that was it so i'm patiently waiting. I did take an hpt it was neg. of course but if I don't get it in a couple of days I'll test again. We just finished our classes last night and are officially certified to adopt now so we will begin the whole paperwork part to actually get going now.

Hey chica! Nice to see you checking in! Met actually shortened my cycle by a few days. I O on CD 17 now instead of crazy, unpredictable Os. Met is used to lower glucose so that the insulin level is also effectively lowered. Have you had a glucose/insulin test? You may want to request one.

Congrats on finishing the adoption classes! I know you guys must be really excited!
