Some one please help me!!! We are going camping with a big group this weekend and I am in charge of bringing dessert for about 40 people. I need something that I can make a day or 2 in advance and can leave it setting in the tent overnight and during the heat of the next day without it going bad. Does anyone have any ideas other than cookies and brownies? Thanks in advance!!!

Can't you just bring something do-it-yourself, like Smores? Another goody for camping is baked bananas w/ chocolate, but that would be kind of a pain for 40 people.

How about an assortment of cookies and fruit bars? Suzy Qs, Hohos, ring dings? Those are already made- the easier the better!

you could always pick up abunch of the handisnack pudding cups that don't need to be refridgerated and have those, you could make parfeits with them too.

how about apples and caramel topping for dipping? Since the jars will be sitting out, the caramel will be nice and gooey! You would just need like paper bowls or something to put the topping in, people could be responsible for slicing their own apples. Or heck, just dip and bite!

I am thinking chocolate dip & bananas & apple slices???? All can be stored outside & should be fine for eating.
