I know I haven't been around much but I thought I would give an update for those who are interested.
OI had my lap and uterine septum removed on Aug. 30th. I'm all healed and have AF now. I go in for an SHG on Friday to make sure my septum was thoughouly removed and uterus healed correctly. I have to wait for AF again. At that point I think we will be doing a IUI. Hopefully my husband not biking will help his sperm issues. It sucks that it will be two more months before any possible good news.

Oh and I just found out my brother's girlfriend is pregnant. At least I will be an aunt...

Good to hear from you! Hooray the surgery went smoothly! I hope the two months goes fast. Waiting sucks!

My DH biked too - only in the chilly mornings for about an hour, so not too bad, but still the doctor said he should stop. He wasn't very happy about that but of course he knows it's for a good cause!

Lizzy, I've been wondering where you were. Glad you're still around and all. Sucky about the 2month wait but we have held off last cycle and this one, we had a vacation last week and I just didn't feel like dealing with all the stress. Start injectibles next cycle, so we'll see how that goes.

Congrats on being an aunt. I'm an only child, so I foresee myself being a 90 yr old lady with all my dogs.

I am sort of new here so I don't know your story, but I am very glad that things went well for you.

Yes, the two month wait sucks, but if you eat right and do all those pre-pregnancy things like vitamins and all sorts of other good things that I don't do you should be even healthier when the end of the two month period comes.

The best of luck to you. I wish you the best. Keep us updated.

Lizzy,
I'm right there with ya! I start my IUI in November. We're out for October due to my travel schedule at work. Hopefully with the holidays right around the corner, it will be here before you know it!

Thanks everyone! I'm off to shower, I leave in an hour for my SHG. I am expecting it to be just like an HSG, which didn't bother me at all. Will post an update when I get back.

I had the SHG. It was much easier than the HSG. The speculum is the worst part. My uterus is perfect now I could see the space where I will hopefully have a baby grow. I will call when I get my next AF and then start clomid and an IUI that has a chance of working now. I wish for time to pass quickly.
