I'm sitting here with tears streaming down my face... I feel like I just was touched by an angel! Two angels. Not one, but TWO friends offered egg donation and "baby hosting" services for our upcoming IVF.

We still don't know if we'll need egg donors or surrogacy, but I am just so... so... amazed, incredibly honored, totally blown away.

You have to know the circumstances too... I've never even met these girls! I've never asked anyone for egg donation or surrogacy services, because well, I know what they'd be in for. But we've gotten to know each other over the years on a message board kind of like this one, except it started off as a wedding-related board. I keep a TTC journal on it. They've been following my story and have been there through all the ups and downs. And the first time I mention we might need to look for an egg donor... this happens.

Ok I'm a big crying mess again, good thing I'm working from home today! Oh my gosh I still can't believe it....

Hey lisa, I am so glad you have such wonderful supporting friends. Me, being a surrox3 understands what great gift they have offered, and I am so happy that you have them in your life. I will never say I can just imagine what you have gone through, because,until you been there personally,you wont. I just know I pray for people to be able to have help with their fetility some how I know no matter what, however it happens, I will keep you and whomever your angels are in my prayers!!!

I just got chills for you. You know my story and that I'm possibly facing that decision since my eggs are not what they should be. What a wonderful thing for them to offer. That is a true friend. I hope that if that happens for me, that I am able to find someone like that in my life too. This is amazing. I honestly feel like if I was suddenly blessed with fertility through some miracle and my eggs were good all of a sudden, I would totally be an egg donor for someone. What a gift to give.

Wow that is even more special since they dont know you in person!
I remember how blown away and grateful I felt when my best friend offered her eggs in case we needed them.
