I've done 6 months of it, sometimes getting good progesterones, sometimes not. I've only charted this past month and it doesn't look like I O'd. Been doing OPK's for two months, I think I got a pos on cd 23, but low progesterone. This last month I had all neg opk's. Also my last two AF's have been early, cd 26 and now cd20----very dark brown spotting lasting 4-6 days. My dr has done no follow up while I've been on Clomid except to call me with my progesterone results and say to keep going. I'm on 50 mg. I started the weird spotting last night, neg hpt today---I drew a progesterone today and I'm calling it cd2. I called the office this morning and can't get in to see him until Oct 15th. I have one dose of Clomid 50mg left at the pharmacy--should I take it or take a break until I see the dr? Is my lining messed up? Why no O all of a sudden? What would you do?

Marie

Marie,
There are so many factors that could make you not O, I would keep trying. I know waiting sucks, but stick with it! I'm on Clomid too, and I know how frustrating it can be! I honestly don't have any answers for you, but I'm hoping for you!

I've not done clomid before, but if you've done 6mo and not having any luck and not Oing every cycle I'd wait this cycle out until you see the doc. If you are Oing and have low progesterone then he should be putting you progesterone supplements as well. Maybe you should get a referral to an RE? Good Luck!
