I know exactly what you mean about being happy to see AF. I had laparascopy last month. AF showed on Sunday, I started my femara today, and my ultrasound is set for Thursday, so I'm just 1 day ahead of you. Good luck with your IUI! We are still just timing our bding.

Yesterday was CD1, so tomorrow night I start my meds!
Then next Friday I go for a sono and the following saturday if everything goes well then I have the IUI!
I am so excited!
Troy keeps telling me to calm down that I am getting way too excited.. but just to be getting to this point where we are officially trying again following the miscarriage is huge for me!
Wish me luck!
Good Luck! We are on almost the same cycle. CD1 is today for me. Last month's attempt with Clomid didn't work out (the follicles didn't grow large enough), so I will be trying a different drug this month. My appt is Thursday and I'm getting excited already.
OOOh that is wonderful!! Let me know how it goes. My new RE told me that if all goes ok with the tests he wants to run after AF comes again I am going to be starting Femera too!! But I'll be waiting at least until November for that I think.
My docs wanted to try Femera, I would love to hear an update from you guys on how it goes... this may be the next option we try.
The first cycle on femara brought my second pregnancy. We didn't know then that I had other issues with maintaining a pregnancy. I had taken clomid before and suffered through the side effects. I haven't experienced an side effect with femara so far and this is my 5th cycle. It has a lower risk of multiples. My doctor is really concerned about that for me since I'll be high risk with only one baby in there.
