I woke up this morning with a pounding head ache and ache in my calve. Troy said eat a banana.
(THANKS!)

Do you think the achy legs and headache are from the Femara??

Today is the 3rd day of taking it.. I still have two more days to go!!

Ouch!
I've never had anything that I could blame on the femara.

I hope you feel better!

Ok, now I'm not so sure about my reply. I woke up in the wee hours of Saturday morning SCREAMING in pain with a cramp in my calf!

Mine only lasted about 30 minutes. Just long enough to scare the crap out of dh! I've never had any sort of cramps like that before. It would happen right after I replied to you.

Hi Girls, I am about to start Femara next month. My doctor didn't really explain what it is or does? I'm assuming it's an alternative to clomid. If anyone could tell me more about it that would be great. Any success stories too???

This was my first cycle with Femara. My doctor choose it over clomid for me because I had breast cancer and it was easier on my body then clomid.

I had some hot flashes but mostly in the evenings and one day i had muscle cramps but i dont know if it was from the meds or not.
Could have been something completely different!

I have my sono on Friday to see how it worked for me!
So keep checking and I'll let you know on Friday if it made me produce more follies!

This is my 5th cycle on Femara. My first one resulted in a pregnancy, unfortunately that didn't have a happy ending due to other issues which we are now aware of. My RE really doesn't like clomid. I don't either, I was INSANE when I was on it. It has a lower risk for multiples even on a higher dose, than clomid does. My RE really wants to watch that with me since I will be high risk with just one baby. I did have a cramp in my leg this time, but that is the only time I've ever had anything that might be considered a side effect from it. Plus they are nice tiny pills! And covered by my insurance, which clomid is not.

I have my utrasound on Thursday (OMG that's tomorrow!).
