So after a night of dreaming about this appointment, when I finally got there the new receptionist said that I didn't have an appointment today! They worked me in and it's a good thing too. I'm going to release one on my own and a second one with my shot either this afternoon or evening. We didn't bring the medicine with us so we had to go home after the appointment to get it, and she also intructed us to go home and BD as well. They took my blood to check my progesterone and will call me back soon to tell me when to trigger. It's a very good thing that dh and I both work on campus. I'll have to run across campus to his office for the shot, but it could be worse. I had to ask an aquantance to give me my first trigger shot in a restaurant bathroom.

Oh the adventures in baby making!

It is funny how you must do these things in the strangest places. It's a wonder why more women on fertility injections aren't getting called in for taking drugs .

I just wanted to say, good luck!

Yikes! I didn't know you had to trigger shot yourself!
I thought they did it at the office!

I go tomorrow morning. I am so nervous!

With my first one I was told to bring the medicine to the office, but since they have never given me my shot before I didn't bring it with me, but if I had they probably would have just given it to me then. Yours might be different since you are doing IUI.

It is kind of odd to be bringing syringes to work!

I'm excited about this shot, but I really don't want to start the heparin up again.

Thanks!

The nurse called while we were at lunch and said to do the shot right away. Luckily it's fall break here, so we found an empty conference room down the hall from my office.

The conference room was only used for the shot, DH was wanting to BD, but he had a meeting he had to run to. My faculty just let themselves into my office, without knocking.

I had to do my own trigger shot. It hurt a little, but not too bad.

Yeah and BD the night away!

Just timed BDing for now. My RE thinks that that will be enough after my lap. last month. I hope so.

We have been very busy for the beginning of my cycle, but now that I'm entering the tww things are slowing down.
