I need some thoughts on my U/S results today.
It wasn't as positive as I had expected and here's why.

My lining was only 6.8. They like it to be 8 so it's thin. They said that it can sustain a pregnancy though. ( anyone ever had a thin lining like that and conceived and all went well?? )

My follies werent as large as I had hoped.
On my right i have one that is a little over 19 and then one that is like 15.5
Then on my left there are 4 that are only around 10.

They went ahead and gave me a shot of HCG. So tomorrow we go in for IUI!

I am excited but Ive been knocked down a couple notches since the lining isn't great and there aren't that many follies to go with. LIKE ONE!

Am I worrying too much or honestly, do i have cause to be concerned all isn't great??

I'm sorry things didn't go the way you had hoped! Your lining and follies have 24-36 hours to grow, and with the boost in hormones from your shot, they shouldn't have problems catching up.

kara, i replied to your post but in my U/S post.

but to summarize, amanda is right. follies will grow 2-3mm per day and my RE said any over 18mm is considered optimal.

I haven't worked much yet this morning. I'm too busy reading up on follies and uterine lining!
I read that 8-12 is optimal.. anything under 6 is too thin.... mine is 6.8..
not giving myself much to work with am i!

Does the uterine lining thicken up too???

I am praying I have at least one good egg... and that the lining will be enough to sustain a pregnancy..
god willing....

I would see if he could give you progesterone or the med that thickens the wall (can't remember the name). I agree with Amanda. GL hun!

Thank you girls.
I just got off the phone with the nurse again. She said it's unlikely that they would grow too much more since we are doing IUI in the morning.
She said those sizes aren't bad. Now my lining she would have liked for it to be thicker but it's over 6 so that is what we have to work with.

She said if this one doesn't work that they will do something to try to thicken it.

She told me to relax.. that at this point there was nothing I could do to change any of it.
I just so hoped that this would be it.
That this would work and Id have my July baby.. the same month that I lost our baby.
Would be so special!

Well I dont know how much I'll be on tonite..... I'll try to get on later!

Thank you Thank you Thank you.......

I think that relaxing & stopping worry is exactly what you need to do sweetie. I know it is hard & you wanted better results BUT there is a very good chance that you can get preggers. Positive attitude & some extra tender loving care from DH should do the trick!

My one large follie was 19 also and the other was 16. The 19 is a good size! It sounds like they can assist you with the lining if a bean grows, so I would not worry too much!

You are still in and have a good shot! Keep your spirits up, I think that is all good news!
