So I talked to my RE today...We qualify for shared risk program- up to 4 fresh cycles
6 week process- day 19 shot; 2 weeks Lupron; 2 weeks shots and Lupron (at office nearly daily); 2WW
1st time will do ICSI on some or all eggs
Transfer day 3 if not a lot of eggs look good; day 5 if more look good on day 3 so we can pick the best ones
Hes doing this protocol b/c its basic recipe since Ive responded well

Question: when will my period start if I'm on Lupron? I'm on day 5 now, with Lupron starting day 19 (Nov. 26). I usually O day 15-17. Normally my luteal phase was 10-11 days, but I've been on progesterone since May so AF doesn't come until I stop suppositories, which has been 14 days after O. I'm trying to look at the calendar and get approximate dates for retrieval/transfer.

Any help?

Thanks!
Stephanie

Hmmmm...I wish I could help you out but I did BCP instead of Lupron at first. I would assume that you will get AF when you normally would. That is what they told me. I took my last BCP the same night I started Lupron & had a visit from AF although it was much lighter than I expected. From there, you should allot about 14-18 days before retrieval depending on how well you stim.

In theory you should get AF after the 2 weeks of Lupron. I'm like Astrid though, I did BCP instead so I don't have first had experience. With BCP, I was told that I may or may not get AF during the IVF cycle. I always did, although lighter and shorter then normal. I would guess you should have a similar experience with the Lupron.

From the time you start stims, you should be roughly 2 weeks away from retrieval.

Good luck!
