i'm so excited...my RE's office has scheduled me for an IUI in the morning at seven am! i called this morning and told them about my positive OPKs and peak reading on my monitor and they want to do IUI now. i'm so thankful! i need some prayers right about now, ladies! thanks!!

I just went through my first IUI on Saturday... It was so exciting!!!!

it went awesome! they put in 113 million with great movement. the whole process wasn't painful at all. she said i might feel cramping when the cath was inserted thru my cervix, but i never did.

the part that took the longest was getting the sample ready. that took about an hour. they had to do whatever it is they do to it. the actual insemination took about five minutes...at the most. then i laid back with my pelvic region slightly tilted for ten minutes. they also told us that we could come home and BD as much as we wanted to! to quote, "the more the merrier!"

next tuesday, i'll go for my progesterone test. they told me i can take a HPT two weeks from today. hope i can last that long, lol!

she was so positive, it was heartwarming! she said "i'm getting you pregnant today!"
