I had 2.5 hrs of 5-10 minute apart contractions today. Panicked me for a few. Drank water and laid down and they subsided. Glad for that.
Don't know if my super stress/emotionally crappy day had anything to do with it.

Mommy to 6 amazing blessings!!
Home from my big night out! It was perfect. The hotel was fine, even had a pool! The birthday friend was totally surprised and blessed. We stayed up til at least 3 talking and acting like teenagers! Got up around 9 and went to a nice hotel for breakfast buffet! Perfect time with great girl friends!
hi all! just finished moving over some furniture that was given to my kids to use when their house is really theirs. for now,, its all stored in my very over-full garage. forgot to mention that grandson #2, braydon, turned two on Friday. went to a party at the other g-parents house on Saturday. i was really glad to see that my family was mostly all there, supporting braydon.
oh and we had a date night last night. had a teppan grill meal (think benihanas) that was made specially for me so it was gluten-free and quite yummy. then we went to the movies and saw 'the help'. it was extremely good, super funny in parts and very realistically portrayed. i think we will see it for an oscar contender, for sure! even joel loved it.

I didn't know "the help" was a movie, but heard a lot about the book. I always read the book first, it's always better than the movie.
Welcome back Shari.
Sounds so fun FW.
Marie, I always regret buying a "normal" stove, enjoy yours!
I am thrilled that I have tomatoes growing and noticed 3 peppers on my pepper plant. This may not seem like a big deal but we're quite a ways north so it's cool.
I am going to milk our cows tonight, so dh can spend some time riding horses with the kids, this is going to be a busy week for him so he won't see them very much, let alone have time to do stuff.

I am waiting for the mailman. We have a couple checks we should be getting and we could use them. Need to finish paying off the condo for wdw. Never rented a condo for vaca before but a three bedroom ended up being about 425 for the week, which is amazing, I think.
Hurray for cheques and bonusses. We had one as well. I'd love to get a bonus some day and do something fun with it, like buy a tv, or a mini trip or whatever.
I am going to get a massive amount of work done today, I hope. My house is messy and dirty, I have barely been home since getting home from camping on friday and you can tell.
wow, that's a really good deal for a 3bdrm condo for wdw, is it close?
I'm off camping from Wed to Sunday, so much work to pack up! The kids are crazy excited, we're only going to a lake about 12 mins away, wanted to be close to home for our maiden voyage of the year, esp if the nights are tough with baby. Wish us luck and be good!

Marie we booked through vacationcentralflorida.com. The prices are different at different times of year. They also have some townhouses at a good price too I might try some day. Having our own indoor mini pool seems pretty awesome.

I am just touching base. Nothing really much going on here. I am 31 weeks now and am starting to feel pretty uncomfortable. I dislocated my pelvis the other day so was in bed for a few days resting but it is a bit better now and I can walk again. I am a bit worried about #2 as she has become highly emotional lately and really regressed in her behaviours and milestones. Currently she is going to school 2 days a week and I am thinking about not sending her from now until the baby comes to try and give her a bit more time and help her through whatever is upsetting her so much. My house is a mess and I really need more time in my day. Strangely enough its not my kids that are the stressors or difficult parts of my life though but more my extended family. Sometimes I wonder why the adults in my life have to make things so complicated and stressful.
Oh, and Welcome Janet. I am an aussie on here as well. I just love this group of mummies.
I see that I posted here saying I am going to get a lot done, I won't make the same mistake twice.
I am a little bummed that we won't be going away with just us 7 at all this summer, I was hoping to just go for 2 nights, but with this weather we just can't get our farm work done. It's how it goes. Maybe the flip side of it that it maybe we'll have a quiet week next week. It's all about perspective.
Also that I am still using free diapers for #8. Between gifts, "free baby club", and a coupon scam I may or may not try again, this kid has been almost free. I bought 1 box from Costco in January. He is 9 1/4 months old.
