It is "ours". Did you tell him that you "did all the work"? Even though DH is the one that works, he asks me if he can spend money on stuff.. Because he is weird, well that and I keep track of the money, he just brings it home.

I am home from lunch with DH. I keep going over my carb counts. So today we went to the Rec Park and went for a walk on the trail. I actually feel pretty good.

i call our child tax benefit "my" money, and since our farm is a 50/50 partnership I call that "my' money too But that's a blessing AND a burden. I take care of the finances, so I guess that's why.
Since I've put myself on a cash budget we've been laughing about me giving dh his "allowance" lol. good thing he's on my good side

We got our tax return today. Almost all of it's going to bills though...there won't be much in the way of "fun money" this year. It does feel good to have everything paid off and be starting fresh though.
On another note, I am seriously considering homeschooling my kids next year. I really don't want to....I love that they go off for part of the day and I have some time to spend with just my little girls. However, their school sucks, and shows no sign of improving. It's frustrating for sure. We can't really help where we live (military) and some areas are just so much better than others.

Five is a great number, #5 and I are making sure to keep our stats from going through the roof since all you multiplurbias keep moving the bell curve on us.
I've been on 7 cruises in the last decade and don't appear to have drowned yet. Even did one in Italy for our honeymoon. But yes, Mo6 and I will meet you by the hottub/pool/hammock for the pgs and tell you all about the wonderful things we saw
Cruises have childcare!!!
OT, but I got an iphone last week for work, wowza! What an amazing piece of technology! Would I pay for one with my own money, absolutely not, but has it ever made my work/minivan life so much easier!

All this tax return talk is sending me into a depression. Dh talked to the accountant yesterday and he thinks he can claim a lot and that we should only owe a few thousand. On the bright side it is really cool that he has only be in business about a year and he does not have to file a loss.
On to school talk - I went to the Special Needs/Kindergarten Transition meeting last night. Lots of people there that I recognized. Lots of people even more clueless than myself. They still don't know if kindergarten will be half day or full day. They said that an increase is millage was voted "no" so I don't know how they can vote "yes" for full day without a way to pay for it? We should finally know half vs full by the end of March.
I don't have the minivan today. It has had a terrible smell since x-mas. We had it in the dealership but they didn't find anything. Well DH saw smoke coming from the hood yesterday so back it went. Kinda terrified to find out what the heck it is & how much it will cost.

I cannot find a decent big van anywhere near me in my price range. ahhhhhhhh.
Hope the van repair is just a simple fix.

We don't do childcare, cruises or otherwise.
We had to do a 250 mile radius search for a van. It is worth the drive to get the right one. You need to look for a fleet rental return. They are usually only a year or two old and have been kept up well.
I am plum tuckered out. I am done. I have no energy and my hip is hurting again and I just want to wallow and cry and watch trashy tv, but I can't because we don't do childcare.

I've never done childcare either, well, except for school.
I have been looking for a van all the way to Toledo, Ohio. There is nothing in my price range, which isn't a lot.
I am tired as heck too. I am doing projects, painting the bathroom is my newest task.

That is serious business. My whole house needs painting. I don't like projects like that.

I'm so bored, and pretty much housebound since I just find it too cold to take two toddlers out with me anywhere. I am painting dh's sanitizer for his clippers and haircutting stuff too. Thats my small project.

I don't do coffee or coke. So I have kool aid or water in the morning.
I don't feel like doing anything either. I really don't feel very good today either. Got the livingroom cleaned because I had a meeting for Sebastian this morning, but other than that there's still cereal all over the kitchen floor and I haven't touched the bathroom either. Blah.

arghhh...I got the two sides, top and back of the sanitizer painted. Let it dry. Taped off the front piece that isn't getting painted then took it back out to do the bottom and now my spray paint primer stopped working. Already. Brand new can. *sigh*

It's a warranty item..YA!
I'm a huge coffee person. Although when the coffee pot broke 3 yrs ago, my DH convinced me to give instant coffee a try so we could have more counter space. Sad huh?
Hopefully the toaster never breaks. I like buttered bread and all but ya gotta have toast every once in awhile.
