I am just fresh out of wit or humor. I did move some stuff around to make room for new baby. Today I may get her clothes ready. No hurry though, I still have six weeks.

I don't feel good at all today. I just want to sleep all day, got massive amounts of laundry to do though, and the rest of this **** house to clean.

Yeah, I feel you FW. I am not hurrying anything up for baby, still 5-6 weeks. We haven't put the bassinet back together, or built my snuggabunny thingy. We bought a new crib but it is still in the box. Even baby's clothes (though all washed) are still packed up.

I don't have a bag packed for the hospital or anything like that yet. I'll do that when its time to go.

Feel better Beth

What is a snuggabunny?

I'm having a pretty crappy day. Last night Milly woke and nasty oozy mucousy grossness was coming out of her ear. My poor baby had an ear infection so bad it ruptured her ear drum and I didn't even know it. She hasn't ran a fever or acted like she was in pain or anything. She's just had a really snotty nose but I figured it was just a cold.

Then as I'm holding her, I see a bug on her shirt. Upon further inspection I see it's not just any bug...it's a freaking louse!!! There's freaking lice in my freaking house!!!! ;( So I take a flashlight to the kids heads and it looks like only Emma has it. I've look the others over 4 times now and I still haven't found anything. (Thank you Jesus!) But even still I'm afraid that they're going to get it. I'm afraid I'M going to get it! Yuck! Yuck! Yuck!

Crisco. It kills lice better than anything over the counter. My niece had it once in elementary school and my brother bought all the lice crap and she still had it. I talked to my friend and she told me to coat her head in Crisco and top it with a shower cap and leave it in. We did it overnight. Granted it took a few washings the next day to get it all out, but she didn't have anymore lice.

Snuggabunny....its like a foldable sleeper kinda thing. I got it so when we are downstairs I can put baby down if needed without carrying my bassinet up and down every day. It will fold up too so I don't have to leave it out. I don't really use a swing, so this might help, and its really soft

That's the same one I have in my amazon cart. I also have the matching swing and bouncy seat sitting there, not that the baby cares.

I feel a little better when I eat something, but if I miss that tiny opportunity between when I feel hungry and feel sick it sucks. I jinxed myself by saying I felt fine, which I did up until like 7 weeks.

It's really windy and snowy outside today and I really don't want to drag myself out to get the kids later either. :/

We are a sorry bunch aren't we!

Lice- #1 had it once. We used mayonnaise for a few hours. Kills the live bugs, BUT you have to pick nits every day for two weeks. Hair by hair. The eggs develop over week period so the eggs you can't see today will appear tomorrow. Wash and dry everything. Put any unneeded toys etc from the bed.

Morning sickness- yeah. I hate that.

Baby clothes- got them out. They are still sitting waited to be sorted and put away. But I can't put them away until I fix the dresser the big girls broke. I

We've never had lice here, pinworms yes, lice no.

So there is this live scanner for the county here where you can hear everything that is going on, on your computer. There is also a guy who types everything that happens into twitter and then it goes to FB by RSS feed. Anyway my brother's "ex-wifes" brother posted on one saying something about how everyone knows that you swallow. He is 8. EIGHT. Bro's ex is something, but her mom is a totally different story, she's MESSED UP and doesn't care that her 8 year old, (along with 10 and 9 year old daughters) have facebook accounts. She's to busy finding new boyfriends and getting boob jobs.

wow, where did everyone go?

I am debating if I should go to the walk-in today if they can even do anything. I had some more spotting last night, it's gone this AM. I also don't feel as sick at all this morning, but I forgot to take pre-natal vitamin last night so maybe that's why I don't feel super crappy. If that's the reason I'll just skip them. I am paranoid about spotting though. I've never had a miscarriage in my life (except for Noah's disappearing twin).. No sex or anything since last saturday, so I don't know..

I hope everything is ok!

On the subject of lice, I really like Lice Freee! Spray. I've bought it at walmart. It's natural and works pretty well. It kinda makes the hair feel dirty, but it smells good, like licorice and works well. Put tea tree oil in the shampoo and conditioner to help keep everyone else from getting them too.

Agree about the tea tree oil. Couldn't hurt!

I never take vitamins. Stopped with #1. The walkin place won't want to touch you. If you are worried all you can do is go to the er or wait til Monday to call your regular ob. I suggest waiting and resting. Kup!

RM, try to remember spotting can be a side effect of a perfectly normal healthy pregnancy. I know it's hard not to worry. I had some spotting with my last pregnancy and I remember feeling my heart sink. I hope yours turns out to be nothing as well.

A friend of mine makes all natural shampoos, soaps, etc. She brought me over a shampoo she has that has tea tree oil in it. She also gave me a detergent she made with it. Hopefully it will work!

I went over Emma's head practically all day yesterday. My OCD wouldn't let me stop. I think she's pretty clean at the moment but of course I'll keep checking her. I really don't want to do a mayo treatment, lol! (But I will if I see live bugs anytime in the next few days.) Unfortunately, when working at Juvy, I had to do alot of lice treatments on kids that came in. Mayo was the worst! It did encourage good behavior though, haha!

I told Emma that from now on she is going to be rocking the ballerina bun at school!

That's what I thought, about the walk-in. No spotting today at all, I guess I'll just wait and see. I have an appointment on friday, so if something more happens before that I'll call of course, just for peace of mind, and if nothing else just mention it on friday.

My mom is taking 4 kids overnight tonight.. wish her luck lol

glad no more spotting, still scary though

good morning ladies. yesterday dh had a medal ceremony, I took the two bigs, it was pretty cool. Last night we went out with another couple to steak place, then came back here for snackies. I had two sitters watch a total of seven kids, my five already in bed when we left. It was nice to pretend to be an adult for a few hours

No lice here yet

Glad the day is turning out well for everyone. I am wondering why I thought dumping all baby girl clothes size nb to 12 mos into one big bin was a good idea. I had to sort each piece. Turns out I must have given a lot of my nb to 6 mos stuff away and then got pg and decided to start saving again. Then he was a boy. So I need a couple little things. Everything is in the wash now though. Sheets blankets clothes towel.

I don't have any newborn clothes except for 2 packages of unisex onesies I bought. The smallest size I have is 24 month in boys.

Big kids are with grandma, and I took Becca and Bastian to gamestop to trade in their ds's that were not destroyed for wii games. Pretty cool when you don't spend a penny at a game store I got them mario kart, a fishing game and cooking mama.

Yum steak! And Yay for getting to be an adult!

Did the Lowes Build n Grow kid clinic today with the 3 big kids. Dh should be home by dinner and I am hoping we get the kids to bed early and watch the DVR'd episode of Jersey Shore w/ some wings and couple beers.

Tomorrow my MIL is taking the all the kids from 8am until 5pm to her place so Dh and I can declutter and organize the house. I am so freaking excited!

Well, no beer and wings last night. We had our very first nursemaid's elbow incident about 5 mins after DH walked in the door. So we spent the evening in the ER with the baby. I never even heard of nursemaids elbow until last night. #4 is fine now and still sleeping.

I am sorry about no beer and wings. I don't even know what nursemaid elbow is.

I am not feeling good today. I learned a hard blood sugar lesson about a stinking half a baked potato! My sugar was up for like 3 hours, maybe more, I stopped checking! Today I feel all stomach upset and icky. It is a sorry state of affairs when a Polish girl can't eat a potato.
