@ruth: congrats on the job offer. i hope it will be a blessing to your family as much as it will be for the church family you will be serving.
ladies: i am so very overwhelmed at all the cleaning i need to accomplish to get my house back in order. i find myself walking in circles looking at things and then moving on to other areas less demanding.
i have my granddaughter with me today while the other kids are at disneyland having fun before my son leaves to go back overseas. the fact that she is sick as a dog is not lost on me...i am debating calling her dr and taking her in. she is sleeping right now so i think i will take a break and lay down for a bit while i can.

Um, that's kinda odd, dumping the sick kid on you while they go have fun? I know that he's not home forever, but he'll be back, and that's really not fair leaving her with you. I guess it's just not something I would do.
My back kinda hurts now that it's not numb anymore. Ear doesn't hurt at all, even to the touch, it kind itches. I guess that's why people get their tragus pierced, it pretty much has no feeling. Weird place for a mole though huh?

hi ladies! I just read the last three pages of posts, great work!
I took the kids to my sister's house (2hrs drive one way) by myself for the weekend! Dh had to help out at a hockey tourney and I get tired of being alone at night, so we went there. It was exhausting but nice to visit a bit, and I got to break in the new suv! Lots of fun, except the baby blew an eardrum as soon as we got there, the 2nd time in 12 months that one of my kids with no signs at all of ear infection, blows an eardrum. Poor peanut. But he's antibioticed up and looks great!
And we sold the 15 pass van today! A church group bought it

Me, too. We need to decide who "wins". Who goes first or who goes longest?
Taking the dog to the vet. I am letting the boys camp out tonight. I have a major homeschool meeting tonight. I am kind of swamped. Good thing I am not having a baby today. It would have been a good day too, because this was my grandmother's birthday.
I forgot to tell you guys, yesterday at the dermatologist, the nurse AND the doc said that Bastian looks like Macaulay Culkin... Seriously could they have picked an uglier kid to compare him to? Poor Bastian.

Well technically he was a cute kid just an ugly adolescent/adult. So as long as they were talking about the Home Alone version, I wouldn't take offense.
I think the winner is whoever last the longest. That way it might (doubtful but I'm trying here) go by faster. I can't remember how far apart you guys are. Who is due to pop first?

If you go into labor on the 11th does that mean that you can say your labor was an hour shorter than it really was (because we lose an hour that day)?
I personally like 10's we have a lot of 10's here, but you guys all go overdue so that probably wont happen.
It is possible for me to have a 10/10 baby though I suppose, that would make baby 13 days 'late'.

Mommy to 6 amazing blessings!!
My dog has a nasty skin infection. They sent us home with flea pill, steroids, antibiotic, and shampoo. All with different doses and schedules. So I just sat down with #2 and a calendar and set her up on a schedule. I just can't be in charge of this right now. I think the vet was 12. When did I get so old?
LOL @ the 12 year old vet. The vet that we go to for mammals is an old strange guy, think Willy Wonka of the animal world lol. He is awesome though, he even cried when we had to put my parent's dog to sleep, I don't think many vets take all their animals personally.
Little kids are having lunch, then I really have to finish painting my cupboards, they have been sitting doorless for about a week.

Our vet is closer to 112. They really give you all that crap for fleas?
I locked the cat in the powder room when I left the house today. At least he pooped in the waste basket. Of Reagan's 3 fish, she only has one left. I hate taking care of animals anymore. What the he// was I thinking buying her a fish tank?

whoever goes first, wins...LOL, so that will be you.
I'm "due" the 13th. I am just hoping to have him by the 27th. The MW's will go bananas if I even get near that date though, since I give birth to linebackers.
I'd love a 13th baby. I am one.Shoot I wouldn't say no to a TODAY baby!!! But thats NOT gonna happen. I just tell people I have 3 weeks left.
I keep having this fun contractions that I know aren't doing a darn thing, but they HURT. So I keep telling him to quit bothering me unless he's coming out. LOL
Repti- Caulkin was cute in his Home Alone time, so thats okay.
Well I just got my fridge cleaned out so I feel accomplished and am sitting with a coffee watching power rangers. 4 y/o has been waiting all day for it.

The house is pretty much clean, I just have to take a shower. I even used some leftover meat that I was going to throw away and made dog brownies LOL (I don't really hate the dogs as much as I say I do, but don't tell anyone. )
