I like walgreens diapers the best out of store brand. I have also learned that swim diapers don't work as regular diapers, even in a pinch.

I am glad I haven't needed to buy diapers for a long time.

I love sunny days, and our grass is turning green!!!

I am so exhausted. I had 4 brides in for appointments today an each one was a struggle. Normally we get lovely brides in, but today it was just one shocker after another.

#1 wanted things that didnt exist (purple tulips with blue tips) but didnt want to pay to have them artificially made (dyed white ones) so started getting hysterical because she wanted what her budget didnt allow.

#2 didnt know what she wanted, didnt know what flowers she wanted, didnt know what colour scheme she wanted, didnt know what her budget was, didnt know how many bridesmaids she was having, honestly, I didnt know why she made the appointment.

#3 has her mother with her, she wanted one thing, her mother wanted her to have another, so I sat there while they argued with each other. Occasionally piped in with some ideas, which just fuelled more arguments...

#4... I DESPISE the term 'bridezilla' but I cannot explain her in any other term. She came in with her list of demands, which were all pretty standard and do-able, but she made it so difficult, she was bossy and quite frankly... angry.

Argh. And I came home to a 4yr old whose Nan had to pick him up from kinder because he has a fever and sore throat, a 10yr old who fell off the monkey bars at school and has chipbark graze from her ankle to her hip, on her arm and on her face, and a cat with a bloodied up eye.

Ready for a brand new day right now.

I feel like my kids are fighting, crying and screaming from the moment they wake up until bed time.

My kids went to bed 'late' last night. We finished the last few pieces on the front porch and then grilled chicken for our salads. Three of the kids didn't even get chicken on theirs because they were misbehaving so I gave them 'plain' salad and sent them to bed. And then of course the two bigger kids didn't want to clean the stupid playroom. THEN DH tells me that I should just have them clean it once a week, which is stupid because I wanted to have therapy down there once in a while and I DON"T FREAKIN WANT TO CLEAN IT MYSELF ALL THE TIME!

Two therapies today, more laundry to fold, etc etc etc. I wish laundry would do itself.

Wow, Cybele, sounds like a freakishly bad day! The only thing in my wedding I knew I wanted was flowers. I used to work in a shop back in the day. I just love a fresh cut spring bouquet. Hope tomorrow goes better and he kids and cat feel better soon.

I am sitting here with the baby lying beside me playing "wiggle and kick".

Bride 2 sounds like what I would be like. That's probably why I got married in a courthouse lol It'll be 8 years in 3.5 weeks, doesn't seem that long though

The porch looks really nice! Your dh did an awesome job!

I took pictures of my dh with his car yesterday. It was the last day that he could legally drive it since the tags expired and there's no way it will pass inspection. Anyway, this car is so trashed yet I was sad because it has never let my dh down. So now here I am grieving for a CAR because I don't like the idea of sending it to a junk yard. Why do I have to get so attached to things?!
Oh and it has OVER 266,000 orginial miles on it!! It's a miracle it still runs.

The car has to pass inspection even when it's that old? They don't even do emission testing on cars that are over 10? years old here. I know we didn't have to do it on the windstar and it was a 95.
Or put collectors plates on it

Does anyone know if that mio makes water less like water? I have a dr apt next weds so I'll ask her what she thinks, but I remember one pregnancy I got in 'trouble' for being dehydrated because I was drinking crystal lite. There was the commercial that said that's how you can get your 8 glasses a day and I didn't think any further, but I guess it acts as a diuretic like soda. ANYWAY I got a sample of the blueberry lemonade, and I don't like it very much so I put it in a gallon of water for the kids. Maybe they'll drink less milk this way.

Nice porch, he did a great job!

I put pull ups on top of bathing suit and swim diaper when we drive to the pool so there won't be pee int he seat when we get there. Lesson learned the hard way. And I am not about to dress my kid once we get to the pool. Not gonna happen.

I only ever drank Crystal Lite through pregnancies. I know the "pretend" sugar is bad but I thought as long as it was decaffinated iced tea that it would not be dieuretic like. Hmmm, now I wanna know what the doc says.

I actually learned AFTER switching to cloth that those diapers are only really meant to hold in poo. That's the same thing that cloth swim diapers do (I spose technically you could use any cloth diaper) because that's what the chemicals in the pool is for, to clean up the pee.

I picked on DH after he took over 12 hours to finish the porch because the neighbors got done in like 4 hours and it's twice as big. Of course they had 4 mexican dudes working on that one. LOL!

Nice porch!

I dislike flowers, weddings, and most girly stuff....saved a lot of money.

I drink whatever I want while pg, except alcohol.

Yay for handy hubbies.

I went out with a friend today, went to a few antique stores out for lunch, grocery shopped (lol) it was a nice day.

In other news, nephews mother called (I hadn't talked to her in 2 years) and asked if my offer for nephew to move in was still standing. While I was talking to her I couldn't help but think what a useless mother she is (cause you know, she can't do anything for nephew, she is moving to England in 10 days to be with her boyfriend). Whatever, I told her she had to support my rules and she said she would (from afar obviously), so that is good. We'll see.
