Ok, we did it for the first time since the baby was born. We have lost a combined 65 pounds (40 for dh who started losing in beg of feb and 25 for me, but 10 of it is sleeping in the bassinet). It is like doing it with a new person. This time was careful and all, but once we start rocking it again, it will be like we are 19 again, without the vag tuck!

KrazE, you will love the mixer! It makes the kitchen so much fun! Congrats!

LOL fw, you go girl!

Kraze, ENJOY your present.

I nearly cried when I found out my one sister in law had given her stand mixer away to my little sister. The one whose husband gets a $5000 bonus (that's not the christmas one) and who could easily afford to buy her own.

I had a wonderful day on my date with my 13 year old. We went to build a bear, shopped (for her) and got iced cappucino's, and went out for supper. I'm glad we do this date thing for their birthdays.

Sounds like you had a great day 5in2005

Its 10:30pm here, Sash is in bed, Lux is in her room reading, DH is in our room reading, and im sitting in the lounge with Dita, Violet, Azriel and Sunny watching smutty cartoons. Particularly, Spike and Mikes Sick and Twisted Animated Film Festival. I really shouldnt be condoning this, but its just so funny. I should send Sunny to bed, theres just something about a 12yr old watching R rated cartoons that probably makes me a bad mother.

I tried keeping each kid home from school on day for a 'special day', and it was awesome except for Sydney. She actually asked to go to school half way through the day. Guess I"m not fun.

I have a horrible pain in my side. Think I waited too long to eat something. My mom is supposed to come by today too, but I'm not going to hold my breath. I did get her a plant/flower thing for mothers day, so hopefully she does come over before the cat eats it.

Feel better Repti!

My youngest is SO excited about her cousins birthday party at the park today. We live out in the country and we have a huge yard but that is no where near as cool as a park. It's even a sunny day!!!!

Re: birth, I have nothing to say...all of mine were induced..except leap day baby, I was in labor when I went to the dr, but wasn't really aware of it. I let them hurry things along, because I truly wanted a leap day baby, and it was the one day my nurse friend was available to watch my diabetic daughter...who had just been diagnosed 11 days earlier!!

Glad the brithday date was good!

Hooray FW! Wish we were like 19 year olds!!

We have decided we are going to get Emily a Diabetes Alert Dog. I am so beyond excite, but we have loads of fund raising to do, so all I can think about these days is the best way to raise money!! If anyone has any idea, please let me know!

I am seriously thrilled with #1 today. I asked her if my dress looked ok for church. She said it was too big! She said my waist smaller than that now! I filled up her gas tank.

Terre...20k..ouch. I need more details, which I hope to get tomorrow. There are companies who match fundraising dollar for dollar, but it sounded like I need to know someone who works for a company for that to be possible. I don't know details about that, but it sure would be nice to cut it down to 10k.

I am stuck watching star trek because the show the girls served for was a star trek parody. Now they want to watch it. I hate star trek. And it is mothers day. Stupid star trek.

I don't like any of those stupid space shows.

I had a pretty good mothers day. The kids behaved, and it was awesome outside.

It's monday morning and sunny outside. I am going grocery shopping to get it out of the way, it's been 3 weeks since I've had a "real" grocery trip and you can tell by looking at my fridge and pantry.

Have a great day ladies!

I ate too much for breakfast, now I feel like a bum.

Got the OT eval for school for Bastian at 2:30 this afternoon. Hopefully it doesn't take long so we can walk to get the kids from school.

wyatt spent the night last night, not intentionally planned but sweet nevertheless. the kids took me out to dinner yesterday to a place i love - ookas teppan grill and sushi. i DO NOT do the sushi side. yummy food, sweet grandbabies with us and fun all around. then wyatt came to play legos at our house for a while. ended up falling asleep and that was that.

being a mom is so stupid, seriously you can never make a decision that isn't criticized by someone. Either that or I should stay off facebook. lol The most recent exaggerations are that if you have a baby that sucks their thumb or fingers they will do it into their early teens and have TONS AND TONS of dental issues, and that a bunch of slings are recalled because babies suffocate in them. (Only one sling OR carrier has been recalled due to suffocation. The rest of the recalls were, mostly carriers, because pieces broke on them.) Ugh!! lol

Don't know anything about sling suffocations. Have a host of finger suckers. I have two non suckers in braces right now. Baby is waking and I am going to give her a bottle and put her down for a good nap. Then I am putting me down for a good nap.
