I have never felt bad when pg before, now I feel awful!!! I am hot/cold, feel nauseas, dizzy and I am sooooo tired I sleep all day. SO has taken over all childcare, cooking, laundry...with the help (bribery) of my two oldest sons. Besides dragging myself to work every morning, I don't do anything but lay on the couch. My poor babies.

I feel so bad I almost think something is wrong. Anyone felt like this before?

I'd get your BP checked. Hope you start feeling better soon.

My last pg was like that. I was sick all day everyday from 12 wks til the day she was born. The nausea went away as soon as she was born but the dizziness lasted another 24-48 hrs. Everytime I would start feeling it come on the nurse would come in and say my bp was dropping.

Make sure you get your iron checked too! I've felt like that in PG when not getting enough iron. PG still makes me feel like crap, but when the iron's low I feel like TOTAL crap!

Sometimes when your feeling so bad it could mean a multiple pregnancy. have you had a sono? I felt horrible for the first 4 months when pregnant with the twins. my dr. told me when you have a multiple pregnancy your symptoms can be worse.

Hi...I don't post here often, but when I saw your post, I thought I'd offer another possibility...Have you had your thyroid levels checked yet either? I had a pg that ended in m/c due to Graves Disease (hyperthyroidism). That was the first I had ever had problems with my thyroid, and I didn't know what was making me so sleepy that I couldn't function except I thought perhaps since it was the first trimester of my pregnancy, I was just getting tired from that. I worked and slept and it was all I could do to drag myself out of bed to get in the shower to go to work. PBS babysat my 3 year old (I'm sorry to say) when I got home from work cause I just couldn't keep my eyes open and I dragged my butt while at work. We didn't find out about the thyroid issues until my dr. appt. and she couldn't hear the heartbeat on the fetal monitor...sent us to do an u/s, and found that our little peanut wasn't viable any longer. After the m/c and d&c, blood work found the hyperthyroidism. Anyway...long story short...I had a lot of the symptoms as you...tired, dizzy, etc. and I just thought I'd pass along another possibility. Hope you feel better soon.

I've felt that way before. There was nothing wrong in my case....just every pregnancy is different.

I would get your iron checked. Are you taking a vitamin?

When I was pregnant with my twins I didn't feel worse, although I have heard some women say they did. Only real difference I noticed was that I started showing earlier than normal. I figured it was because I had just had a baby the year before.

Hope you feel more energy soon.
