Do you get gifts for all of your kids teachers? (If they go to school)

What about teachers at church or coaches or other adults in your kids lives?

I never partake in getting the teachers gifts, that would be way too many teachers considering the number of kids and classes lol

The room moms have us all donate $. It seems so impersonal. They usually buy a gift certificate.

Not this year. There just isn't enough money to go around.

I have made a list of the people who have really gone out for the kids this year and came up with 4H leader, book club librarian, theater director. We will make goodies and write a note of thanks to each one.

As far as money, I don't spend a lot. I am as cheap as they come. But I think it is important to let the people who have really impacted the kids know that we appreciate them. A hand written note is a cheap, yet meaningful way to say thanks. I highly recommend it.
