move 8-9 months pregnant or with a baby that is a few weeks old?

And when I say "move" I mean a big move with a long drive and nights in a hotel. Also I will have to drive the whole time (we have two cars that need to come) and the three older kids and two cats will be along for the ride.

Oh the joys of military life.... I don't know if we even have a choice, but dh thinks he might be able to get the orders pushed around a few weeks, in one direction or the othe-r.

Pregnant. And the sooner the better. I believe they are far easier to take care of on the inside. As long as you aren't in poor health and can make it to a hospital!

Definitely Preggo! I can barely handle driving 1 hr long trips w/ a newborn. I would try to get the orders for the move changed to sometime late in your 7 month or early in your eighth.

Pregnant. Back when my ex & I were still together, he decided it would be just fine for us to move with a 4 yr old, 3 yr old & a 9 DAY old. I had a difficult delivery with a baby that decided to arrive face first and I had endured a 4th degree episiotomy.

There are so very many reasons he's my ex...

Preggo. We moved eight days before I had my 3rd son and as much as it was no fun, I couldn't imagine doing it a few days after he was born. ughhh.

Pregnant sounds like an easier road trip, but at the same time I would be nervous about meeting a new doctor weeks or even days before giving birth.

What a hard decision!

I have moved (not far moves 4 to 6 hours away) while 35 weeks preggo, then again when Riley was 5 weeks old and with 6 month old twins. And I hated every single time we moved LOL!

But I would vote for being preggo. No diapers, no crying, no feeding - much easier when they are inside. The 4 hour trip took forever (like 7 hours) with a 5 week old and the twins being just 20 mths and not potty trained yet. It was the worst trip I have taken with the kids and I drove them by myself too with no help.

See I'm leaning towards trying to go after the baby is born. I just can't imagine trying to drive that far through heavy traffic with a big huge belly and all the usual discomforts. I also have a history of early babies so I'm afraid I'll give birth somewhere along the way.

You guys have be rethinking that though.... Hmm...let's face, both options stink! Dh should have exact orders in hand next month, so then we can hopefully make a better decision. I'm due July 18th, and all transfers are in the summer, so that makes it hard to work around.
