We usually cook every night, one night out of the week, usually the weekend we will order pizza.

7 days. We don't eat out, so if we want to eat, we have to cook.

5-6. We order out almost every Saturday night and sometimes on Wednesday, when DH teaches a class at night and Esme has dance and the schedules get tight. Although ideally I should always plan in advance to have something in the crockpot those days....

Twice a day, 7 days a week, almost without fail. We spend $20 on pizza and soda every two weeks on pay day. Lately, with my pregnancy fatigue, we haven't been doing as well though as I often don't feel like cooking.

I want to move towards a Once A Month Cooking type schedule. I'll probably do Twice a Month, since that's how often hubby gets paid and we buy groceries. Can't wait until we get on that schedule, too!! Will be good for me when I have a burst of energy to just go through and cook two weeks worth of meals, and will be even better when I DONT have any energy to be able to just pull something out and reheat it.

almost every single day. We order pizza once in awhile, well before I went on mat leave and lost my child support, now it will be even less. However just myself and Aaron (and the babies) were here tonight so we did order one pizza.

About 5 times a week. We mostly have dinner at my or dh's parents house on sunday, and there is usually one night where we will have nachos or oven pizza or something like that, nothing that requires a lot of cooking.

Uh... not as often as we should.
Maybe 2-3 times a week. We usually have lunch and breakfast at home, but dinner we get something or eat out more often than not.

My absolutely rock-solid good excuses are as follows:
1: the kitchen is tiny and difficult to fit more than one person in. No, really. It's a kitchen in a NYC apartment, you don't know small kitchens until you've cooked in this one.
2: There are many delicious and healthy (and some not so healthy but equally delicious) options within walking distance that I can run and get or send DH, or Alexei or Kira and Emmy out to get, or that we can all go to as a family.
3: I don't wannnnnnaaaa.
4: Two working parents and 6 active homeschooled kids doesn't exactly lend itself to one of us or one of the kids cooking every night.
