Nope. No convenience stuff here, we couldn't afford it. Plus, we make most of our food from scratch. We have our own beef, chicken, egg, plus we grow and freeze enough veggies for all winter. The veggies are all frozen into 2 lb bags and we eat one everynight. So it's pretty convenient, just grown and packaged by us.

I buy frozen waffles, canned soups, those frozen veggies that steam in the bag, juice boxes, and fruit snacks.

Not often, except chips.

We make our own usually, and I'm hoping to create a freezer stash of homemade things (especially breakfast things) like burritos, waffles, pancakes... pizza, a few casseroles, dinner burritos... things like that.

Bagels and other baked goods hubby brings home from work.

I'm embarassed to say yes to all of the above. I'm doubly embarassed to admit that my kids LOVE those Chef Boyardee cans of crap pasta-eww! I just get so bored with having to plan huge lunches and suppers for all of these kids now-it wasn't so bad when it was just Nolan, but now with E, and the twins totally on table foods, its hard work to come up with meal after meal after meal...

Yep, I do, and my kids love that crappy Chef Boyardee pasta things too. I buy frozen waffles/panckaes and toaster strudels so the kids can eat breakfast quickly in the mornings. I also buy juice boxes, fruit snacks, canned soups and boxed mac n cheese, but the older kids won't eat that...only my homemade mac n cheese.

Spaghetti-O's are the kids back-up plan for when I serve up one of my many kitchen failures.
I like to keep frozen veggies and stuff like that for quick meal fillers. Just makes life a little easier sometimes.
There's always frozen pizza in the deep freeze and canned soup in the pantry, we don't eat either often but when sitters are over that's usually what they feed the kids.
And yes, we keep fruit snacks, granola bars, cracker packs, juice boxes and stuff like that stashed everywhere (cars, purse, etc.). If Lyssa or Brian's bloodsugar drops, we have to have something to bring it back up and sustain it for awhile.

We buy eggo's, some of the kids really like them and easy. I do buy a fair amount of convenience foods for the kids' lunches, granola bars, fruit roll ups, that sort of stuff, to add to their sandwhich and fruits but I also buy a lot of that stuff in bulk (think goldfish crackers). I care about healthy food but I am fine with the convenience type foods as long as it is balanced with other stuff.

we try not to but I get so tired of making cookies for their lunches that I just buy a box of cookies. Homemade cookies go so fast in this house. lol
