Does anyone have time to fit in any sort of exercise? (I mean the real on a treadmill or bike or something kind)
I would love to work some into my life with the dieting, but it's i.m.p.o.s.s.i.b.l.e.
During the week I get up @ 5:30am, shower, dress, get ready for work. Get the kids & my lunch together, get the kids up to start the day (the younger are on the bus for 7:30 & start school for 7:45am, teens are on the city bus for 7:55 and start school for 8:15am). I leave for work & get there about 6:20 - 6:30, work until 2:30. Come home to do whatever quick odds & ends just before the kids get home (almost 3), then if there are things to get at the store, plus supper, plus laundry. On Mon & Tues I pick up SO at work for 5:45, Weds through Fri I pick him up @ 6:30pm.
There is always something that needs to be done around the house in regards to cleaning or homework etc, and I do not have, not do I have room for any sort of exercise equipment so I would have to pay for a membership somewhere and find the time to even get there as well.
Where or how does anyone fit time in their day for themselves??
time??? For me??? uhhh no. They just opened a gym right around the corner from me too, seriously could walk there, for $12 a month. I don't know when I'd ever get there...I guess I'll have to settle for walking with the kids after baby comes.

Welcome to the world lil' man!!
I haven't been working out but I need to. I've looked at a couple of dvd workouts and I'm thinking about getting Jillian Michael's 30 day shred and using that to establish a workout routine. I've also considered P90X but I've heard that it is brutal!!

We walk everywhere and use PT otherwise, and are out and about the city a lot. So while I rarely do formal exercise other than long walks with the dogs, I get a lot of it just going about my daily business. Not to mention 4 of my 6 still love being picked up and carried around.
Yes. I carry my 8 year old sometimes =D She hitches piggy-back rides on me still.
We also love our Wii fit, even if it isn't "real" exercise.
I excercise with my wii (ea sports active) and although I am not religious about it, I do do it on a fairly regular basis (it's only 20 minutes). Our family ski's every saturday, so I guess I do get a fair amount of activity in but that's just been the last year or so, now that my kids are a bit bigger (my youngest is 4).
