Were a crazy "new mom"???

Do you think that your last baby was as scary to bring home as your first? Are you more relaxed as a mom now with more children?

No, I wasn't. I had my neighbors giving me all kinds of baby advice, and some of it was nuts, but we did okay. Beth was a very good and easy baby so I was pretty laid back.

I was so scared I didn't want to leave the hospital! I was crazy proud though!

I tell everyone that their totally missing out by stopping before 4, that's when everything finally falls into place! (In my opinion of course )

I was never one of those mommas lol, I am too laid back by nature plus I'd been taking care of my lil bro and sis since I was 10.

It really does just get easier though.

I was never a crazy mom, but I have definitely gotten even more laid back with each baby.

I certainly don't panic with four, like I did with one-now I don't worry unless I see blood and crying=breathing

I'm also laid back by nature so I was never a nervous new mom. It also helps that I had worked in daycare for years so I almost had a BTDT feeling even though she was my first.

I was more like "Jim and Pam" on the office, trying to get more time to stay there. I had NO idea what I was doing. I had no idea that my body would heal as fast as it did. I kept lists of when she slept, when she ate, if she woke up wet or dirty. It was comical. There are some things I think I should get more serious about now, but most of all it is better to be more relaxed.

I was more particular with my first than the others, but I was pretty relaxed. My sister is 13 years younger than me, so I had plenty of hands-on practise.

I did get really really particular for a while with my 4th due to the fact that she was premature, and became a bit of a germ nazi, but she was pretty suseptible to catching stuff (she spent 8 days in the hospital for a cold when she was 8 weeks old) but that was a neccessity. And she had apnea for a while, and so I did actually experience her turn blue and stop breathing a few times, so I had valid reasons for being paranoid.
