We dropped off a bunch of clothes to the local annual consignment sale Saturday morning and then had a family movie night. Sundays are always busy for us. It is church and ccd day and then running to the commissary for our annual grocery shopping. Makes for a long day. I don't think we have had a relaxing weekend other than when we were snowed in and couldn't go anywhere.

I ran a 12-hour relay race with 3 of my girlfriends. It is what one of my crazy running friends wanted to do for her 40th birthday. We set up a tent and one of us would run while the other 3 of us sat around and ate and socialized. It was rainy and cold, but we had a blast. There were some amazing athletes in the race. One guy ran 100 miles (started the night before) to raise money for his charity. Wow! After the race, our husbands met us for dinner at a friends house. Sunday was spent recovering on the couch (I'm 10 weeks pregnant...so it really took it out of me). I'm soooooo thankful to have such a supportive husband that took care of the kids, the house, the grocery shopping and the cooking so that I could have such a great weekend. Turkey season is coming up, so I think he is trying to earn some "points" before he is gone every weekend hunting

I did some minor adjustment with moving my deep freeze from the laundry room to an area in the basement that made more sense. I bought and assembled a laundry cupboard but have not yet installed it since I don't feel like digging out both the stud finder and the level, then hauling my arse up on the washer & dryer to mount it to the wall

We had great weather, so after church on Sunday we were all outside. We worked cleaning up around the barns and house and kicking around the rest of the snow to see if it would melt.

Wow, I'm impressed!
We had a pretty uneventful weekend...it was rainy and cold and I didn't feel like getting out much. Sunday was church as usual. I guess the big "excitement" of our weekend was my trip to the hospital last night. I was fine, and then all of a sudden I was in so much pain I couldn't even stand up straight. Of course a few hours in the ER waiting room made me feel so much worse... Final verdict was a kidney stone - ouch! Let me tell you, labor is less painful! I was admitted overnight and then came home today - ama. Follow-up appt tomorrow.
