Once upon a time, I had 4 children, they behaved the same for me as they did for everyone else. They learned that for example, I didn't carry them up the stairs when they were old enough to do so, they could cry and cry untill they eventually walked up the stairs themselves. The next day we would not have this battle again, they knew I wouldn't do it, so they didn't fight it.

Then, because I am a sex maniac like Tiger, I had a 5th.
I love her, and I am glad I have her, and I swear I don't parent her all that different from my others (a bit, but not vastly so) and she saves ALL her bad behavior for me. On the one hand, this is a good thing, but for years already, I would have her go to my moms for a day (for example), and she would be a little angel, and the MOMENT I walked in, she would cry about something, want stuff etc.

And like with the stair thing, my other kids would catch on after even only one time and my Julia will try day after day after day after day after day.

On the positive, she is going to be succesfull in whatever she decides to do, it's not like she is going to give up, provided I keep her around

Do any of you have a child that gives you more grief than anyone else. And with my other kids, I never had to have dh's help, they would listen to me better than to their dad even, but this one is a whole different story.

Anyways, God must have given me this one to keep me humble

I fear that my lil Izzy may be kinda like that if I don't have another one soon. But then that one would probably be a little spitfire

Yep, ahhhh....actually more than one, they are my darling teenagers. I sometimes wonder if other people are actually talking about my two darling sons. What....wonderful, mannerable, helpful.....not back talking, lazy eating machines????
