I'm trying to decide if I should take all five children with me to Emma's birthday party, if I should just take some (that's a tough choice), or if I should leave the other 4 at g-ma's house.
Here's the deal, the party's at a place called Play 4 Fun, basically a building full of bouncy houses. So naturally it's centered around kids and all my kiddos would love to go (we haven't been yet, it just opened). But it's located in the next town over and I'll have to take everyone and everything w/ me early so I can set up our room, plus try to keep track of the little ones while hosting a party solo. We've invited 12 kids (which is two over the limit but the owners are giving me a discount for extras, this number does not include my 5). 6 kids have RSVP'ed and I haven't heard anything out of the other 6, but I was at a party a couple of weeks ago and heard a parent say that they never RSVP so I have no idea what to expect. I might also mention that no extended family was invited (will do something tomorrow that family will be included in), it's mainly a celebration between Emma and her friends (but siblings are friends too).
Anyway, I was just wondering how you ladies would handle a similar situation? Take them all or let it be Emma's day w/ her pals???

I think it'd be nice and something really special if you did this with just your daughter and her friends and then had a family party where your other kids were there. Then maybe make it a tradition.. all the big parties like this that the kids have make it THEIR special time and have it be only them and their friends.
