How old are your kiddos when you stop using sippy cups?

I still make my 6 year old use one because she has a tendency to leave her cup within reach of the baby but if she is going outside she uses a regular just wondering what other moms of many do.

My 3 and 4 yr old still have cuppys and only cuase like you they leave it where the baby can get it and he spills it. So until the baby can have a regular cup they will have cuppys too

I like to break them right around their 5th bday. My current 5yo is giving me problems though and I hope to break him by his 6th bday i guess - in august.

Izzy is the only one using a sippy. Luke uses a cup w/ a lid and straw but he also uses a regular cup.

Other than when we're out of the house, it's around 2 years old here.

My first few kids used sippy cups until they were 2-3. Joseph, Thomas, and Mary never used sippy cups at all, but went straight from breast to regular cups. We use small water bottles (with the "sport" type lid) in the car or outside.

My 3 year old uses a cup with a lid and a straw, but he has no problems drinking just from a cup at mealtimes. My 2 year old drinks from a cup with a lid and straw and makes a huge mess if he just tries a regular cup. My 1 year old also uses a cup and straw with lid.

RJ is 3.5, Becca is 2, and they both use one here. RJ uses an open cup at school, but he spills all the time here. Maybe he's just more careless here. He doesn't take it to bed though. Becca does.
