I have no idea. A lot. I am always buying some. DH and I have our own set of towels and then the kids use the rest. I would say at least 15 or so towels.

We have a bunch too. I used five tonight to clean up the mess Carrie left beside the bathtub. It was mostly my fault...I'm sick and wasn't watching her so well. She also used half a bottle of soap to reshampoo her hair.

I remember I once read a tip from a mom of lots of kids about towels. She said she bought big bright beach towels on clearance at the end of summer one year(for indoor use) - two for each kid, everyone with their own design. Then the children were responsible for keeping up with their towels and hanging them up - she washed them all once a week. I thought that was a great idea and plan to switch to that method when the kids are a bit older.

Hubby and I have 2 large towels each. While one is in use the other is in the wash.

The kids have 2 towels each.

Then we have close on a dozen other towels that get used if they're needed.

I need to buy more though. As I haven't brought any new towels since it was just hubby and I.

I have a ton ... but I'm terrible about only using towels once and then throwing them in the wash.

dh and I have four big bath towels, again, use three days then do a big wash with the kids on hot

We re-use towels a few times too, I never run out, but we do have a lot of towels because my mom has a thing for new towels and buys them frequently, and I don't have a thing for new towels so I will just take her "old" ones. I think there's 30 towels in the house.

We don't have a whole lot. Maybe 10-15. I have bought the huge beach towels for the kids in the past. They are perfect to snuggle them in when they get out of the bath. We hang/reuse our towels for a few days and then they are washed. I use to have a bunch of hooded towels when the kids were toddlers. I loved those things.
