We pick them up wherever we see them cheap. All the kids are also signed up for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library thing that our County is a part of.. they each get a book a month in the mail for Free. We're swimming in books!

I have ordered a ton of books from scholastic. I usually go for the cheap or $1 books. I ordered a few computer programs too - but I don't recommend them. Two of them didn't work at all.

I love scholastic books. When I worked in daycare I used to run scholastic and getting all those free books for the classroom was awesome. I don't buy a lot of books (big library fans here, not to mention SIL used to work at a children's book editor so we have A LOT of books) but I usually buy a few scholastic books a year. The kids love getting them delivered in class and I like how much my kids love reading
