Today I have to go to jury duty. I finally get a full time job and get a summons for jury duty. I have only ever been called one other time and I was able to get out of it. I decided to just go this time.

Have you ever been called for jury duty?

I got the paperwork but every night when I called in there were no cases for me to go to...so I didn't have to appear....The first summons I got I was nursing a tiny baby and so got out of it (I told them why I couldn't)...the second time instead of getting out of it I just did the calling in....praying I wouldn't have to but at the same time figured if I DID then maybe it'd skip me for a long time LOL....they waited about a year before resending my summons from the first time lOL...persistent little twerps LOL

We aren't to give a baby milk, berries, or peanut butter. We are to introduce new foods one at a time. But it's OK to inject several viruses, bacteria, aluminum, formaldehyde, phenoxyethanol, animal serum, mercury, squalene and more into an 8 week old? I don't think so.
In order to be healthy it is an unfortunate fact that people must be allowed the opportunity to be ill. I trust my body and those of my children to work correctly against the relatively benign diseases they vax for, and do not trust the ingredients in the vaccinations.
Our choice to not vax isn't based in ignorance, poverty, conspiracy theory and rumor. It's research, common sense, fact and evidence based..something the medical community has largely forgot about.

I have gone once. Once after that I was given a date but called the night before and didn't have to go.

My sister had to go and she was FREAKED out. Of course she was actually called in to be questioned by the attorneys. She starts crying and shaking so bad, the judge asks her what is wrong. She tells her she is scared to be sitting in the same room with a potential murderer and they let her go home.

Doesn't it just figure though that NOW you have to go to jury duty though Shari? Not the time you were a SAHM?

Well it was uneventful. I was in a room with 200 other prospective jurors and then by lunch they were ready to chose 45. Of course they called me. Then they take the 45 to the court room where you see the defendant, hear the charges, and then they select 12 to be the actual jury. Of course, they pick me again. After that, they lawyers look over the list of potential jurors and they can dismiss who they don't want. I got dismissed. Wish I knew what disqualified me. I was relieved of my jury duty by 1:30 and now I am good for two more years. Now I just wonder if I get paid for that day.
