How has everyone been spending the last few days? Anything exciting going on? Frustrating? Relieving?

I took my oldest out on a date yesterday, we went shopping and to build a bear, and we both had a ton of fun. I wish I could take each kid on an individual date every year, but it just would never happen, so I am glad we've decided to do something special every other birthday.

How about you Cortney?

Just spending time with Dh. He has three days off in a row. I think he has off on monday to. Was supposed to paint a room or two today but never got around to it. Instead my dh cleaned the kitchen for me.

Will most likely be painting tomorrow.

I've been busy moving...I can not WAIT until we are done. Hopefully we'll be all settled in by the end of this weekend.

We're adjusting to a new baby and to DH going from an 8 hour day shift to a 12 hour night shift, so we've got a lot of stress at the moment. Plus my MIL, SIL, and SIL's 3 kids are coming down over Halloween weekend to see the baby and then 2 weeks later MIL and FIL are coming down for another long weekend so FIL can go hunting with DH. Both times everybody is staying at our house since hotels are so far away. But once we get everything and everybody into a routine we'll be alright again.

I have been mixing up and making my own natural household items.

Keeps my mind off of things.
