BOY! We're are all super happy to be having another boy! The tech said the only problem that she seen is that the baby has a 2 vessel cord. I've never had this problem and have never even heard of it. I'm very hesitant to google it just because I know what google does to a pregnant mama! Have any of you had experience with this? TIA!

Congratulations!!

I don't know too much about it, but from what I understand most babies are delivered normal & healthy at or very near full term. Your doctor will probably monitor you pretty closely & may do stress tests frequently until delivery. Just take it easy & don't do anything too strenuous or anything that may cause stress. Other than that I don't really know much else. Good luck & I hope everything goes well from here!

Congratulations!

I am having my second single artery baby any day now (although I am starting to doubt that). With the first one, I was going to a different doctor who sent me to a specialist for my ultrasound. He saw the single artery and wanted to do an amnio. I knew 4-5 kids who had been born perfectly fine with single arteries. So I didn't panic, but of course, I got nervous. I refused the amnio but agreed to a later ultrasound to check to see that he was growing properly. They checked his face and heart (maybe kidneys, too) to see that there were no other abnormalities. There weren't. So, they told me he would likely be early and small. He was 2 weeks late and 10 pounds, 13 oz.

Now, with this one, I am back at my old office. When I had the ultrasound, she said "oh, he is single artery". I was not bothered in the least. She checked his face and heart really well, finding no other abnormalities. My OB even called me personally later to say it is nothing to worry about.

Go ahead and google it. Again, if there were no other abnormalities in the face, heart, or kidneys, you should be fine.

Congrats on the boy! They say I am having a boy any day now. But I am beginning to think it is just a tumor. With a heartbeat. And a name.

I had SUA with Clara and the way my doctors told me was terrifying. The tech had the doctor come into the room and he held my hand and started telling me odds are small that there would be a problem, but I needed to go for a level 2 ultrasound because the baby had SUA.

So I googled it. Don't do it. You can google any simple condition and get the daylights scared out of you, I think it is much worse when pregnant.

And Clara was induced (size issue, not a SUA issue) and was 9lb2oz. The doctors joked about my "tiny" SUA baby.

Thank you so much, for helping me calm down! The ultrasound I had was a level 2 and the tech did take many different shots of the face and kidneys and said everything looks great. I'm hoping it stays the same!

No names yet, it usually takes a couple wrestling matches to agree on a name.
FW- baby boy will come soon. I'm sure you could use this time to rest!

We aren't to give a baby milk, berries, or peanut butter. We are to introduce new foods one at a time. But it's OK to inject several viruses, bacteria, aluminum, formaldehyde, phenoxyethanol, animal serum, mercury, squalene and more into an 8 week old? I don't think so.
In order to be healthy it is an unfortunate fact that people must be allowed the opportunity to be ill. I trust my body and those of my children to work correctly against the relatively benign diseases they vax for, and do not trust the ingredients in the vaccinations.
Our choice to not vax isn't based in ignorance, poverty, conspiracy theory and rumor. It's research, common sense, fact and evidence based..something the medical community has largely forgot about.
