They have to ask first. We have a snack drawer.

They have to ask but I'm not super strict about it. At one time, my oldest was very restricted on when she could eat meals and snacks. Due to that, I pretty much turned into a snack nazi towards everyone. It was awful for me and them so now I'm just thankful all I have to say is don't eat too much!

Well, since my oldest has diabetes, she has to ask so I know what she's eating. The rest have to ask too so it's fair.

Mine just help themselves, I pay attention for the most part and if it is getting excessive I will tell them to put it back.

They generally have to ask. I have a couple that would go crazy on cookies if I didn't pay attention.
