Sorry ladies. It's very hard for me to get on the computer at night after work. By the time I have helped with homework, cooked and cleaned up, supervised baths and supervised the reading, made lunches for the next day - I am exhausted. I can check in periodically at work but can't post.
Friday we went out of town to a swim meet for Erin. The boys loved staying in the hotel even though it was only for one night. She swam amazing - she swam her first 500 Freestyle. (That is 20 laps!) Her goggles even came off when she dove in, so she swam without them. She stayed an extra night with her friend and is swimming again today - but we came home last night.
FYI - we stayed in a Marriot Conference center - and it had two bedrooms, a pull out couch, and a full kitchen. We had a block rate for being part of the team that came there - but it was only $99. They tried to tell me on the phone that with four children I would have to get two rooms!! The next time I called to make the reservation, I told them that I only had 2 kids.
I don't blame you for fudging how many kids were staying with you. I would've done the same thing and I'm guessing my dh must already do that because we've never had a problem w/ getting one hotel room before but he makes the reservations.
