We do for teachers, babysitter, neighbors, trashmen, mail man, etc.

We bake all different cookies and put them in tins for everyone. Then everyone gets a gift card. Our neighbors (4 families that we're close with) get $50 giftcards to a resturant, the teachers get $25 to Borders and $10 to Starbucks, the trash men and mail man get $25 to a resturant, and the babysitter gets $50 cash.

no, I don't do it anymore, there's just too many. We make a donation to an orphanage in Haiti instead of teacher gifts.

Usually I let the kids buy a small gift or give a gift card to their teachers. This year my dd's teacher sent home a note asking us to not give her anything but instead to donate to St. Judes or 3 other listed charities. We just donated to St. Judes last week as a coincidence!

This year I think I'll let the kids give something to their music teachers. Last year they'd only taken maybe 3 or 4 lessons before Xmas rolled around so it didn't seem appropriate.

I've never done anything for the mailman, recycling guys, or trash guys. One reason is ours seem to change a lot. If I recognized the guy or kinda knew him I might.

We don't have a babysitter
