Hi there! I think I may have introduced myself before, but I have been everywhere on the boards, just trying to find a comfy spot. Anyway, i am not sure if I am concidered a large family, but it feels like it to me! My name is Lacey, I am 34 ( for only three more months!EEK!) and Dh is 39 this yr. We have 2 boys together, and we have my boys from a previous marriage. My oldest moved out just before Thanksgiving, but their ages are, 18,16,2,and 8mths. I am a SAHM, and still trying to get the hang of it. I need help in all areas I think!LOL Anyway, we are trying to concieve our last, ( we are in the 2ww right now!). I homeschool my 16yr old. I have my 2yr old in couple programs, early headstart and 1st steps,he is mildly autistic, and my 8mth old is in early head start also. I look forward to getting to know you all!!

I wanted to know if you house is ever clean??Is it me?? I cant seem to keep up! Im redoing schedules and bugets, ALL THE TIME! How in the WORLD can someone make it all right?( perfectionism is a problem! Iam a little OCD!) Anyway, cant wait to read your responses!!

My house is never clean all the way. There may be parts, but never the whole thing at one time. I focus on laundry, dishes, and garbage. I have 8: 14,11,9,8,6,3,1 and 2 mos. The oldest 3 do most of the housework. I am always looking at schedules and budgets to try and make things better, more efficient, etc.

Welcome and hope you come around more often. Good luck on your conception! I hope to hear about the BFP soon!

Welcome, My house is usually clean but slightly disorganized, we have space issue's that I am always trying to figure out. I mean you could, if you wanted, eat off the floor but that is after you find it under the toys .

We do periodic breaks through out the day to do quick clean ups. My older ones help with chores and such but the bulk of it falls on me and the younger ones are just now getting more involved.

My kids are 19. 18, 18, 17, 9, 6, 4, and 1.

Welcome Lacey!

My house is clean every 2 weeks for about two hours after the cleaning ladies leave, and its sort of clean after the four kids to go bed each night, until they wake and the frenzy begins again.

Hope you get your bfp!

Welcome Lacey!

I'm Mari, my 8 are 10,8,5,4,3,2,1,and 8 months. Wowza. And we expecting again in September.

As far as a clean house, mine is honestly pretty good, but only because I make the kiddos clean up after themselves, all but the littles. Now, it will never make the home and garden network, but it's good enough.

Glad to have you!

Welcome!!! I'm Shawna, mama to 5 - ages 8, 7, 5, 4, practically 3. I'm a nurse turned SAHM.

My house is never "clean" - but it's more or less tidy every night before I go to bed. I can't relax if it's a disaster. So the floors might need a mop, but they'll be swept 3 times a day. The walls are full of fingerprints, but all the toys are picked up every evening. The inside of the fridge needs a good scrub, but the kitchen counters are all clear of dishes & papers before I go to sleep. Wouldn't hurt to scrub the toilet, but hey! I drained the water and put the tub toys after after Bath Night. It's something!

PICK YOUR BATTLES. LOL

Welcome! I'm Becky and sorta new here myself. I have 6, ages 15, 9, 8, 4, 2 and 2 months My house is much like FW's, clean in parts but not in others and never at the same time. My 15 year old is the only one I don't homeschool, all the rest are here with me full time. Everyone pitches in the best they can, but about 2 seconds after everything is cleaned up....it's all out and all over the place again. We also deal with space issues, our home is about 900 square feet, so I'm constantly dealing with clutter. Thankfully! I'm learning to let go of some of the things I really don't have room for anymore and the junk man is coming in 2 weeks!!

Good luck and I hope you get your BFP!!
