Ok, first I have to say that we were going to wait until my anatomy scan but we dropped the kids off at my in-laws and since we had driven all the way down there (about 50min) we decided to go walk around the mall that just happens to have a Fetal Studio, conveniently located next to Motherhood Maternity. It only took a few seconds of convincing, and the fact that there was no waiting, to have DH agree to it.

The ultrasound was great. The OB asked what we have (5 girls, 1 boy) and asked what we wanted. DH blurted out "A healthy baby". Baby wants to be an acrobat and had it's feet up by it's head. It took a bit of poking and prodding but we finally got a few good looks. I guess I can stop calling it, it...

My dh is great. He isn't acting disappointed at all and is glad that everything looks good. He says he will have to start calling her she now. Now I just need to convince him to pick a name.

What wonderful news. I'm so excited for you.

A good friend of mine had her 7th child last week and she has 6 girls and 1 boy as well. They couldn't be happier.

So pleased that everything looks well with her as well. I was thinking of you today and wondering how things have been going?

Thanks all. Is it awful if I say I wanted a girl? If all goes well, I may be able to talk DH into one more. I really want 8 but DH would be done if we had another boy.
