I got a call from the Dr. the other day and apparently I'm anemic. Kind of a shock for me since I've never had a problem with it before. I'm taking extra iron supplements and hoping this sluggish slump ends soon.
There is good news in the mix, I'm not entirely the lazy bum I thought I had become!

Anyone else deal with anemia during pregnancy?

I had anemia last pregnancy. It did make me feel completely zonked out. The iron suppliments helped but def take some fibre as the iron suppliments can really constipate.

I'll have to get back to you. I have recently started feeling as tired as I was in the beginning of the pregnancy. I'm hoping it's something other than I'm old and have a bunch of kiddos.

Not during pregnancy but after my 5th I was anemic. It really knocks you out. I hope you start feeling better soon. I wish they could find a reason for my sluggishness.
