What did you do with your wedding dress?

Do you have special outfits from your kids baptism/christening, etc...? What will you do with them?

I think my MIL has my wedding dress but I am not sure.

I have some special clothes from the kids, mainly clothes the older ones wore that the younger ones have also worn and the are kept in a plastic bin in the basement. Some of them are 18 years old and still look good.

I never had a real wedding dress since we eloped. The dress I did wear is gone. During one of our moves I'm pretty sure I put a box of keepsakes in with the donate boxes . The reason I think this happened is because a friend of ours found my dh's letterman's jacket at a secondhand store about a year after our last move. I'm glad to at least have that back!

I keep the rest of our keepsakes in a plastic bin that is clearly marked "Keepsakes".

My wedding dress is drycleaned in a box at my mom's house.

For baptisms my kids wore the same gown I wore and I get to inherit.

I allow myself one rubbermaid tote for keepsake clothes, I've kept stuff that all 5 of my kids wore and some of #4's preemie clothes.

My wedding dress is in our closet but I need to have it dry cleaned and boxed up because it's taking up way too much room.

I have a hope chest type of thing my grandpa made me specifically for the kids' keepsakes, so I keep clothes like their coming home outfits and other special outfits in there.
