I know it's been asked if you showed earlier, which I have, but did you gain more? With my first, I gained 25lbs and 10 of that was edema. With my last, I had gained 25lbs by 25wks. I won't even say how much I've already gained.
I'm just wondering if this is normal or if I'm just eating too much.

I have only been pg 3 times but I gained about 60lbs with my twins and 40 to 50 w/ my other two. I don't know why I gain so much, my babies are small and I'm small(ish). I just think everyone is different and most important is that the baby is growing and healthy.
I gained 50lbs with the 1st and 4th, between 20-25 w/ my 2nd and 3rd and maybe 30 w/ my 5th (can't remember exactly w/ her). So far, I've gained 23lbs with this one. I really wanted to keep it between 20-25 again but it looks like I'm going to blow that goal out of the water.
Cortney...mom to A, C, E, L, I, and R
My last one (#8) I gained 18 pounds, the one before was 20. But I've gained anywhere from 18-37....so I don't know. This one I'm 10 weeks and I've gained 5 pounds....little stinker....at this rate, it could be my biggest gain yet.
But I think every pg is different and I've carried them anywhere from 38-42 weeks and the last couple of weeks the baby is sure putting on lots and I seem to get bigger by the day
But I'm glad all is well!
Jesus loving, homeschooling, gardening lover, devoted wife to a wonderful hubby and 10 kids, ages 13 down to 12.5 months . We are expecting number 11 due January 1st, 2015.
only my 2nd term pg, with Nolan I gained somewhere around 44lbs, but my gd was dx only at 26 weeks. This time we've been treating my gd since 4 weeks and I've gained 6 or so lbs so far, but I know its gone up the past two weeks, I'm huge. If baby's growing and your doctors are happy, I wouldn't stress over it.
