Do you plan meals out daily/weekly/monthly?
Do you shop weekly?
Do you cook daily?
How often do you eat out?
I usually plan meals weekly. I used to grocery shop for a month at a time but now that I coupon to try and cut costs, I do it week to week.
I'll plan out a menu for a week and then shop accordingly.
I do cook dinner every day. We are not big out to eaters. Every now and then, it's a treat.
We don't do fast food often. Usually if we go out of town or as a treat if the schedule has been super super busy.
We will do pizza from time to time however.
I would love to plant a garden this year and grow our own veggies.
Mommy to 6 amazing blessings!!
I'm really bad about shopping just about every day. I definitely cook dinner every night, the kids eat lunch at school, and have a breakfast of cereal or toast usually. I don't really plan meals, just whatever comes to mind. DH brings leftovers for lunch every day.
We eat out maybe 2x a year, usually after taxes lol.
We raise our own animals, and grow our own veggies. Last year we canned 175 quarts and froze about 200 lbs of veggies, so that is where we get our food. We do have to grocery shop for a little bit of junk food, I can't grow potato chips and we need to buy milk.
We plan a day or two ahead and I put the days menu up on a dry erase board. It helps me and the kids a lot.
Eating out is a treat here as well. Probably 2-3 times a year we actually go to a resterant, but probably once a month we go through McDonalds if we are on the road, it's more for a convience than fun though.
