Laundry detergent?

What recipe do you use?

I found one but the finished product is kinda "goopy". I want a good one that is easy to pour so I can store it in old laundry bottles and share with friends and family.

I don't, but I've been thinking about it....a few less plastic containers for the garbage would be nice.

lurking from March DDC but I do make my own laundry soap and I use the recipe found on the Duggar family website. It is easy to make and can be stored in laundry bottles.

We do!

I remember the ingredients, but don't know how much of each to use, my hubby makes it for me. I'll ask him!

Not me. I really like my laundry products, especially fabric softener and stuff.
I would be curious to know what the detergent is made of though!

I've heard that vinegar works as a fabric softener but I haven't ever tried it. Anyone w/ any experience on that?

Also, I read that you can add essential oils to you homemade detergent if you prefer it to be scented. Does that work?

I saw someone on FB had said that their detergent is like .03 c a bottle to make or something, that seems super cheap. The oils might get me more interested.

I'm not sure I would want my clothes to smell like vinegar either
