On school nights?
Weekends?

If you have younger and older children, do the older ones get extra time?

All of mine go to bed at 8:30pm. I am not a morning person and with that bedtime they don't get up until close to 8.

The 2 youngest 8pm.
The 3rd usually 8 but sometimes I will let him stay up til 8:30-9
My 9yo between 8&9
My 13yo between 9&10
Typically I do aim to have them all in bed by 8, but with homework, showers etc. If I am able to stick to the above guideline then I am happy. I typically wander up around 9:30-10. If they are still up I turn their tvs off and they fall asleep almost immediately.

We do the 8:30pm bedtime for everyone too. I'll let them stay up later on weekends if there is a reason for it...the drive-in movies for example. Otherwise, it stays the same.

I do use early bedtime for punishment (works better for some than others). So, for example, if someone is being a bear I'll give them 30 mins early bedtime for not being respectful to others.

We do 8pm.

We also use early bedtime as a punishment if warnings are not working(the older three). I will give a warning or two and let them know that next time it'll be an early bedtime) and will knock 30 minutes off.

bedtimes are 7:30 for my 5 year old, 8 for my 8 year old, 8:15 for my 10 year old, and 8:45 for my almost 12 year old, and my oldest gets to decided for herself, between 9 and 10. Everyone goes to bed a little later on weekends, the older 2 stay up much later which is fine as long as no one gets grumpy. My younger 2 are morning people so they are done by 9 pm and my middle needs a lot of sleep, so she doesn't ever really get to stay up super late either.

Becca goes to bed at about 6, it's been a little later now that it's lighter out later. RJ JUST earned staying up with the bigger kids. They go to bed at 7-7:30 during the school year. Sebastian goes to bed anywhere between 6 and 8 depending on when he gets cranky. He plays by himself pretty well when the other kids are in bed

in between 8:30 and 9 for all the kids. Although Dh has a bad habit of letting the 4 yr stay up. Drives me nuts because sometimes she is still up at 11 pm when I get home from work. When she does stay up that late she gets up early.

To bed around 8:30. All 3 watch tv in Nate's room until about 9:45/10pm then it's lights out. The baby falls asleep about 8:30.

Up at 6:30am. All of them still take a 2 or 3 hour nap during the day.

Our kids don't do naps, stinkers (except Lila, 10 months will take one for an hour). So our bedtimes for the youngest 6 is 8 pm, the older 2 about 9pm. But that seems to late, I'd like to bump them all up 45 minutes.

For all of the children it's 8:00 on school nights, 10 on Friday, 9 on Saturday. 1/2 hour early for misbehavior or "rages". The four year old has a wonky sleep schedule and will fall asleep anywhere from 8-10 PM. If she's just really unable to fall asleep I'll let her lay on the couch or in bed with me until she falls out. I've never done that with my other three but they were always good sleepers. 8 has been all of their bedtime since my oldest was 2.
