Don't be too hard on yourself, whenever I get in that mode of thinking I just tell myself that one day I'll be wishing I still looked the way I do now.
And we get too hung up on smooth and perfect, there's beauty in everyone.

I'm 38 and still get zits. Where is the justice?
I look old, I am old. I am old.
Today I took two kids to preschool-both are wearing brand name clothes and dressed to the nines-they look like models. I pull up to school in an old, dirty minivan-wearing a hoodie and yoga pants (not lululemon either). I showered but no make up and didn't do my hair (its short). I look homeless. I'd better get it together before the kids notice how bad I look, lol!
I'd better get a nicer vehicle so I don't look homeless AND old.
No lie, I'd pay to look like plastic, pass the lipo sucker over here please!

LOL Marie. I go off looking homeless, and hugely pregnant, quite often to drop off/pick up my teenagers....hahaha...dirty old conversion van too.
I wish my eyelids didnt droop a little bit or that I didn't have to wear a bra 24/7 to keep the "girls" off my knees.

Wow, you guys sound like my dh. I have to convince him daily that he isn't old. Don't be so hard on yourself. I like to think that having kids keeps me young. As long as my dh still thinks I'm pretty, age doesn't matter. Now how my body works related to age is another thing. I could do without the aches and pains.

Ugh I HATE when my DH talks like his life is almost over. He's turning 40 this month. It really really irritates me. He's not getting out THAT easy! We still have kids to have LOL.

I wouldn't mind a mommy makeover.
I feel like the huge bags under my eyes have aged me by about 5 yrs.
